The Center Serving Persons with Mental Retardation and the Foundation for the Retarded are both 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Donors may choose to restrict the use of funds for specific projects or programs or make a general donation to be utilized as needed. Donations may be utilized for:
- Tuition assistance
- Client events, such as summer camp or the annual Holiday Banquet
- Capital Expenditures, Renovations and Maintenance needs
- Equipment and Supplies
The Center Serving Persons with Mental Retardation accepts in kind donations of needed supplies, equipment or services. Donated items help keep our administrative costs down and donors may be eligible for a tax deduction.
